Merano Wine Festival

It is always a strong emotion to participate in the prestigious “Merano Wine Festival” in the marvellous Spa city situated among the mountains of Alto Adige. The 27th edition of the event was held from November 9 to 12. Over 950 wine-making estates from around the world — carefully selected by The Wine Hunter Award, which is on a constant quest for the very best, high quality wines in the world of viniculture  —  took part in the event.

Among the Poggio Bonelli wines to win awards we find: “Chianti Classico Riserva Dogc 2015”, a wine that expresses the Sangiovese tradition and the elegance of its territory; and the “Cretum” Rosso Toscana Igt 2016, a more modern product that links tradition and modernity thanks to a harmonious blend of the three vines, Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon.

It was also possible to offer the guests who came to our stand inside the historical Kurhaus Spa a taste of a vintage wine: our Tramonto D’ Oca Toscana Igt 2004”, a label that is very dear to the company because it is among the very first wines produced in our cellars at the end of the 70s.
